Riding two horses

Some of our high profile politicians have the habit of contesting in the election from 2 constituencies. It is because they want to be on the safer side as they believe they can win from at least one constituency. Lets see what are the consequences...

If the person wins from both the constituencies then he/she retains one constituency and resigns from the other. Then a by-election will be held in that constituency. The question is who pays for the by-election? Our government pays for it. Why should the government waste our money in the name of by-election? A person should not be allowed to contest from more than one constituency. When someone is not confident of winning from his own constituency then he/she is not fit to be called a high profile politician.

You guys try to find out how many crore spent for conducting a by-election for one constituency. People belonging to political parties should think about this and also oppose if their leaders contest from two constituencies.

Multi-tasking Politicians

The cabinet minister and the leader of Nationalist Congress Party Mr. Sharad Pawar who is 70-year-old, has Agriculture, Food and Consumer Affairs portfolios. He is also the president of the ICC ( Inter-national Cricket council ). Recently a shuffle in the cabinet ministry was expected and Mr. Sharad Pawar had informed our prime minister that he is not able to manage all the 3 portfolios along with his party leadership and also being the president of ICC. He had asked the prime minister to relieve him from 2 portfolios and requested for the 2 portfolios to be given to his party members.

In the first place if he was not able to manage the workload why should he become the president of ICC, is he a cricket player? He is well identified as a politician and so he should focus on politics more than cricket. There are lot of people to run the ICC. Our politicians have been involved in the BCCI management for a long time, the main reason for politicians to involve in the BCCI management is the BCCI’ s wealth and income. I wish only the former cricketers should be involved in the administration of the cricket board ( BCCI doesn’t belong to our government and its an independent body )

Lets get practical, Can a 70 year old man do justice to these many responsibilities?
Another question is why should a person handle more than one portfolio? Don’t we have enough MPs? There are 543 MPs in our parliament and we less than 40 portfolios
If we allot one MP for each portfolio , we will still have close to 500 MPs without any portfolio. If the number of portfolios are more than the number of MPs then it will make sense giving more than one portfolio to one MP.

My opinion is :

1. One MP should not be given more than one portfolio.

2. Mr.Sharad Pawar should first resign his ICC presidenship.

3. Politicians should not be involved in the administration of cricket board or the cricket
board should be taken over by the government and should be brought under the
ministry of sports.

Tamilnadu Police’s Biggest achievement : Seeman Arrested

I remember a joke i heard from a friend of mine. Once there was a competition among police forces from different countries. According to the competition a tiger will be left in the middle of a thick forest and the police team that catches the tiger at the earliest is the winner...The American police enter the forest and catch the tiger in 1 hour. The Russian police catch the tiger in 2 hours( Americans are happy as they were better than Russians) The Scotland yard police catch the tiger in 3 hours ( Russians are happy as they have done better than Scotland yard ) Finally our Tamil Nadu police enter the forest and they dont return for a long time. The other police teams go in search of the Tamil nadu police. After a long search they find the Tamil Nadu police beating a bear which was tied to a tree, they were threatening the bear to admit that it is a tiger...It was just a joke, not to hurt the sincere & hard working men in the Tamil Nadu police depatment but the irony is that sometimes the joke becomes reality. The police department cannot be squarely blamed because they are like puppets in the hands of the government.

We have spoken a lot about the genocide in srilanka, India cannot interfere with the internal war in srilanka as it will hurt srilanka’s sovereignty. All those lame excuses are fine. The srilankan soldiers have been attacking and killing the innocent Tamil Nadu (Indian) fishermen for so many years. The Indian government is least bothered about the lives of Tamil Nadu fishermen, don’t they belong to India? If one north Indian is attacked in Australia then the prime minister himself takes steps immediately to do the needful but when it comes to tamilians the treatment is different. If this kind of an attitude continues the fishermen and other people in tamil nadu may even ask for a separate nation. Does the government of India really wants such a thing to happen. The Central and the state governments are incapable of raising the issue with their srilankan counterparts.
They have killed our fishermen without any reason, that is not violence according to our government. But if Seeman fights for the cause of the poor fishermen that is considered as violence by our government. The whole world knows that there is enmity between India and Pakistan since independence due to kashmir issue. Pakistan, inspite of being our enemy never kills our fishermen it they are caught in the pakistan boundary. But srilanka which is called ( by our central government) as our friend keeps killing our fishermen as and when they like. Is India afraid of srilanka or India doesnt care about the tamils (indian tamils). The congress party and the central government of india are not bothered about the people of tamil nadu but whats happening to our tamil nadu politicians? They don’t care and they don’t fight for the cause of the tamil fishermen. The poor fishermen cast their votes to these selfish and irresponsible politicians...

The first step to be taken is to ignore the congress party which has been anti tamil.
When i write this I am not biased, i don’t belong to any political party as of now. We shall vote for DMK or ADMK or BJP or Communists or DMDK or VCK or any other party except the congress. Why should the tamils vote for the anti tamil congresss party.

Ghajini Syndrome

We ( The people ) are suffering from Ghajini Syndrome, so they forget easily. Whenever there is an issue highlighted by the media, our people react strongly, but after a few days if the media leaves that issue and jumps to the latest sensational news, then our people forget the previous issue and divert their concentration towards the latest news. Our politicians are much familiar with our Ghajini Syndrome so its easy for them to cover up any kind of scam. I will give a few examples below to justify my words.

1.Nithyanandha

We all know that Nithyanandha is a fraud. He was exposed by his own adventures shown by TV Channels ( special thanks to Sun TV & Nakheeran for their excellent coverage ).
On seeing those video clippings and reading the news papers people got angry and started attaking nithyanandha’s ashrams in different places. he was said to be in haridwar at the time. After coming to know about the people’s outrage he decided not to come back to his ashram in karnataka. He took some time,he was wandering in the north, may be he knew that our people will forget everything and will cool down soon. It was allright for nithyanandha taking time to reduce the intensity of the issue, but i dont know why the police department took time to arrest him? With all the technology available will it really take that much time for the police to trace out his whereabout?
Coming to the point,Now people have forgotten the issue, Nithyanandha got bail and came back to his ashram, Actress Ranjitha who was also absconding has come back as well. The funniest thing is that she had told the media that she is going to write a book.
India is a democratic country so anyone can write a book, ANYTHING they can write.
We have to belive that the police department was incapable of tracing Ranjitha all these days until she herself came out from hiding. Lot of politicians ( particularly BJP )
of karnataka were close to nithyanandha. Now he is seeking help from tkose politicians and they seem tobe helping him. The same people belonging to a particular political outfit who attacked nithyanandha’s ashram earlier are now supporting him. Some scoundrels even say that the video clippings are not original(it was graphics according to them) They even say that the entire episode is a conspiracy made by some christian organizations to defame hinduism. Some people ( even females are still staying in nithyanandha’s ashram) Should i cry or laugh....Even god cannot save these fools....

2.Ramalinga raju

A botched acquisition attempt involving Maytas (a company owned by his own family) in December 2008 led to a plunge in the share price of Satyam.[4] In January 2009, Raju indicated that Satyam's accounts had been falsified over a number of years.[4] He admitted to an accounting fraud to the tune of 7000 crore rupees or 1.5 Billion US Dollars and resigned from the Satyam board on January 7, 2009.[5][6] In his letter of resignation, Raju described how an initial cover-up for a poor quarterly performance escalated: "It was like riding a tiger, not knowing how to get off without being eaten."[7] Raju and his brother, B Rama Raju, were then arrested by the Andhra Pradesh police on charges of criminal breach of trust, criminal conspiracy, cheating, falsification of records and forgery. Raju may face life imprisonment if convicted of misleading investors.[8] Raju had also opened multiple benami (dummy) accounts through relatives and friends and used them to trade in Satyam's shares, violating the insider trading norm.[9] It has now been alleged that these accounts may have been the means of siphoning off the missing funds.[10] Raju has admitted to overstating the company's cash reserves by USD$ 1.5 billion.[11] Later, a person involved in the investigation of the company said that the company's assets were not inflated, but instead siphoned off by Ramalinga Raju.[10] Raju was hospitalized in September 2009 following a minor heart attack and underwent angioplasty.

3.Chetan Desai

We all know that Ketan Desai, President of Medical Council of India, has indeed been arrested for corruption. What most of us don’t really know is the amount of recovery made by authorities so far from him. Hold your breath folks. The amount recovered from him is Rs 1800 crore in cash and 1500 kgs of gold. HOLY CRAP!!!! 1800 CRORES and 1500 KGS OF GOLD!!! You can imagine the scale of corruption perpetrated by Ketan Desai. While all our news channels got besotted with Lalit Modi for allegedly having accepted 80 million dollars ie roughly Rs 350 crores but it pales in comparison to what this guy has made, and still no one feels like talking about it !. Now our people do not know what is the status of the legal proceeding against him.

4.Mohd.Azharuddin

The former Indian cricket team captain was alleged to be involved in match fixing.
Hansie Cronje who admitted his guilt had said that he was introduced to the indian bookies by Azharuddin. Cronje passed away unfortunately in an accident. South African players like Nicky Boje & Herschelle Gibbs avoided india tour many times fearing police arrest. But our police didnt arrest Azharuddin & he is still living happily in India.
Now people forogt the past and the most shameful thing is that the indian national congress gave him a ticket to contest in the parliamentary election. He also won from moradabad constituency in Uttarpradesh.
Do we really need such people as members of parliament?

5.Spectrum

The biggest scandal in the Indian history in terms of money involved. some people say it was 60000 crore, some say 1 lakh crore...our people dont even know how many zeroes will make 1 lakh crore. We came to know about this scandal only after the opposition parties raised the issue. The minister involved simply said that he did every thing according to procedure and with the prime minister’s knowledge or approval. what does that mean? Is he trying to say that there wasnt any scandal or the prime minister is also a part of the scandal? The oppositin paties raised the issue few times, but every time the same answer came from the minister. Our honourable chief minister of Tamilnadu said that the opposition is raising the issue just because the minister is a dalit, but does it make any sense? May be the chief minister thinks there are no dalits in the opposition parties.
The central government is tight lipped which raises doubts. Why is the central government not trying to set up an enquiry into this matter? Is it because they need the DMK support or is it because they were also involved in the scam. The minister is not willing to resign, the central government is not willing to remove him from ministership.
We can only feel happy that atleast we are able to know about the scanbdal. Now we are slowly forgetting the spectrum scandal.

6.Douglas Devananda

Douglas Devananda was elected an MP in 1994 and subsequently became a minister for traditional industries and small enterprises development, representing the Eelam People's Democratic Party (EPDP) in the Rajapaksa cabinet. Devananda has been charged with murder, attempt to murder and rioting in the 1986 case following the death of a person in gunfire by the separatist Eelam People's Revolutionary Liberation Front (EPRLF) at Choolaimedu in Chennai. The minister also faces a couple of cases for kidnapping and criminal intimidation dating back to the years when he spearheaded the militant pro-Tamil movement along with others.
Chennai City Police Commissioner T Rajendran said the New Delhi police have been informed that the Lankan Minister was declared a proclaimed offender and an absconding accused by a court in connection with the cases registered against him between 1986 to 1990. ''We have told New Delhi police about this and we are awaiting a reply from them,'' Mr Rajendran said. We should note that a few months back Prabhakaran’s mother Parvathy Ammal came India from malaysia for getting treatment(medical) but she got a very good treatment at the chennai airport, she was not allowed to enter india and was sent back to malaysia from the chennai airport. She was more than 80 yrs old and is not in good health, may be the Indian government is scared of her,she may be involved in some terror activities????
But isn’t it a shame for the Indian government and the police department to let a man with criminal charges against him enter and leave our country safely...Its not just an issue of visiting India but the worst thing is that he met Sonia gandhi and Manmohan Singh in Delhi... i wonder how the prime minister, the government and the leader of the ruling party can be so shameless...

7.Dawood Ibrahim

He is one of the 10 most wanted criminals in India. He is wanted by the Indian government on multiple criminal charges like murder, kidnaps, drug & arms trafficking and above all the mumbai serial bomb blasts. All of us know that he is living luxuriously in karachi. Indian government for name sake keeps asking the pakistan government to handover him, but the pakistan government keeps saying that he is not in pakistan.
After the mumbai serial blasts,he left India and we remembered him while seeing a couple of ramgopal varma films, then we forgot him.

8.Shashi Tharoor

The most outspoken (ex) minister...he attracted lot of criticism from many people including the opposition parties and his own party members. He wasn’t matured enough to know that a cabinet minister cannot write in twitter any rubbish. Lets leave whatever he wrote, its of no use.. In September 2009, Tharoor and S M Krishna were accused of staying in luxurious 5-star hotels.

Lalit Modi published the shareholders details of Kochi-IPL team's franchise owners, Rendezvous Sports World (RSW) group in his Twitter account and also mentioned that he was asked by an influential Union Minister not to get into details of Sunanda Pushkar, who was given a sweat equity of approximately 4.5 per cent of total equity (estimated worth Rs 70 crore) in Kochi IPL team. In an official statement, Tharoor denied having made any financial gains from the sale or having pressured Modi in any way. He further accused Modi of trying to delay and discredit the new owners so that the franchise can be re-awarded elsewhere. RSW protested Modi's breach of confidentiality agreement. Sunanda Pushkar also issued a statement denying being a proxy for Tharoor. Later amidst demands for his resignation from the Union Cabinet by the opposition parties, Sunanda Pushkar gave up the sweat equity offered to her by RSW. But IT department stated that she will have to pay income tax on her sweat equity in Rendezvous Sports World even after having given it up. Allegations that this was pay back for denying a request to not issue a visa to a South African model close to Lalit Modi have surfaced, and so have death threats to Shashi Tharoor by the Mumbai underworld. Under severe push from Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee combine, the Congress core committee decided to ask for Tharoor's resignation. Atlast Shashi Tharoor resigned from the post of Minister of State in MEA after being instructed to do so by the Indian Prime Minister.

According to the government and the congress party the Shashi Tharoor issue is over. My question is why the government didnt set up an enquiry into this scandal? The government has to responsibility to find out whether he was involved in the scandal or not.If he was involved then he should be punished as per law...But since he resigned the government has taken it for granted assuming that the opposition parties or the people wont raise the issue again...

These are just a few examples...i will write more in the future...The people can forget but how can the government and the judiciary forget?

Lets Boycott IPL

To begin with I wil tell you guys something about ICL,then we ll see how BCCI stopped ICL from succeeding, then we ll see how BCCI copied the idea of ICL and launched IPL.

The Indian Cricket League (ICL) was a private cricket league funded by Zee Entertainment Enterprises that operated between 2007 and 2009 in India. Its two seasons included tournaments between four international teams (The World, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh) and nine domestic teams notionally located in major Indian cities. The matches were played in the Twenty20 format. While its establishment pre-dated the Indian Premier League, the ICL folded in 2009. Aside from commercial factors, the ICL lacked the support of the Board of Control for Cricket in India.

Zee Telefilms, part of the Essel group promoted by Subhash Chandra, had bid for the telecast rights to the 2003 Cricket World Cup. Although the highest bid, it was unsuccessful. In 2004, Subhash Chandra again bid for telecast rights and ended up in an inconclusive court battle. He made another bid for the 2006 ICC Champions Trophy rights and once again lost. He responded by creating the ICL. “They denied us the cricket content,” said Himanshu Mody, business head of ICL and Zee’s sports,“so, we had to create our own content.” [1] Zee Telefilms announced that it would partner with major infrastructure group IL&FS to create a new, ambitious cricket organisation, the Indian Cricket League.[2] with prize money of one million US dollars in the initial edition for the winning team.

The ICL was set up with a billion dollar Indian Rupee corpus, and was to initially comprise six teams playing Twenty20 cricket, with plans to expand to sixteen teams within three years and to eventually move to 50-over matches. These plans, if they had been realised, would have made the ICL the richest professional league in India. On 24 July 2007, some famous international names were announced to have signed to play in the ICL, including highest innings record-holder Brian Lara.

BCCI was mainly responsible for the fall of ICL. After defeating the ICL the BCCI came up with IPL...The IPL(Indian Premiere League is nothing but a copy of ICL)
BCCI is the richest among the cricket boards world wide and they are highly influential.

Now lets assume the war between ICL and IPL was just a competition between 2 business firms. we don’t have to care about why the ICL could not survive or how the BCCI mad IPL succeed. But what bothers me is the financial mismanagement of the IPL and BCCI as our national and state governments have been cheated by the BCCI as they haven’t paid tax for the income through IPL matches. we do not know if the BCCI simply cheated by not paying the tax or the government didn’t levy any tax. both are unacceptable.

If the BCCI didn’t pay the tax, what was the government (income tax department in particular) doing? How can they let BCCI escape without paying tax?
If the government itself had given exemption, that is also not acceptable. how can the government give exemption, why they didn’t levy tax? BCCI is not a non-profit organization or a charity trust.

HOW MANY OF US KNOW THAT THE INDIAN CRICKET TEAM DOESNT BELONG TO THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA? YES ITS TRUE,THE INDIAN CRICKET TEAM BELONGS TO THE BCCI WHICH IS AN INDEPENDENT BODY AND ITS INCOME DOESNT GO TO THE GOVERNMENT.

All other sports in India come under the ministry of youth affairs & sports, cricket alone is owned by BCCI(an independent body) which acts like a business firm.
If the income of BCCI is used for developing other sports, Indians would have achieved much more in the world of sports. so many great sportsmen who play other sports like hockey or football in India are helpless. They don’t get paid as high as cricketers.
The BCCI should be nationalized and its money should be taken by the government and can be used for developing other sports.

A few people have spoken about the financial mismanagement of BCCI and also called for the government to take over BCCI but that didn’t happen in the past and will not happen in future as well. It is because Our politicians hold important positions in the BCCI administration. They will save BCCI from being nationalized because they have interest in BCCI’ s wealth.

I call you guys to boycott IPL because if you spend money in any other way like going to a movie or buy any product, a part of your expense will go to the government as income or sales tax, But if you go to IPL match not a single paise from the IPL income goes to the government as tax...why should we spend our hard earned money to make people like SRK, Vijay Mallya, Preity Zinta or Ambani earn more without paying tax.

You guys just check how much tax you are paying for your income which could be jus a few lakhs per annum. Lets think about how much money the IPL teams should have paid as tax for their income. IPL is nothing but a group of businessmen using cricket to earn money. Other than IPL we have so many things to enjoy, so many entertainments are available so i request you guys to boycott IPL in the larger interest of our nation. please pass on this message to all your friends.

Prabhakaran : The terrorist

Who is a terrorist? There should be only one answer for this question,it should be like a description of the qualities which makes someone a terrorist. But each country is giving different answers depending on different geopolitical reasons.

The only similar thing between myself and prabhakaran is that we speak tamil, apart from that i am no way related to him or the LTTE. The reason for me to write about the srilankan tamils and prabakaran is just because i believe the world has done injustice to them.

To begin with, Prabakaran’s family members were not affected by the srilankan governments attrocities towards the tamils. Prabhakaran started to fight for the liberation of the tamils just because he could not digest the sufferings of the tamils. He didnt take weapons on the very first day. It is true that Prabhakaran admired both Mahatma Gandhi as well as Netaji Subash Chandra Bose.

If someone fighting for the freedom of his people is called a terrorist, then Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru can also be called as terrorists. People argue that Gandhiji & Nehruji didnt take weapons and they took Non Violence to fight the British. We should also remember that the sufferings of tamils under the srilankan government is more intense than the sufferings of the indians under the british rule.We should also remember that the british rule was more dignified than the srilankan...Then we all know that Netaji Subash chandra Bose took weapons to fight the British. So do we call Netaji a terrorist? If India is still ruled by the british, then Netaji will be called a terrorist. History is always written by & always favours the winner.

NOW LETS SEE WHY PRABHAKARAN TOOK WEAPONS

Prabhakaran chose military means only after observing that non–violent means have been ineffectual and obsolete, especially after the Thileepan incident. Thileepan, a colonel rank officer adopted Gandhian means to protest against the IPKF killings by staging a fast unto death from September 15, 1987, and by abstaining from food or water till 26 September, he died in front of thousands of Tamils who had come there to fast along with him. This further strengthened Prabhakaran's resolve that peaceful protests would either be ignored or crushed but never heard.

THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA & SRILANKA AND WHOLE WORLD WAS MERCILESS WATCHING THILEEPAN DIE.

During the final stages of war last year, the Indian government gave a lame excuse for not interfering and bringing a cease fire,They said India cannot interfere with srilanka’s internal affairs, they even said interfering will hurt the srilankan sovereignty. The younger generation may not know about the past.It was Indra Gandhi who gave money and training to LTTE to fight against the srilankan government. The LTTE cadres were given training in India. When Indra Gandhi gave funds and training for LTTE,it didnt affect srilanka’s sovereignty, may be it wasnt srilanka’s internal affair at that time.

The only valid reason for India to declare LTTE as a terrorist organization is that they assasinated our prime minister late. Rajiv Gandhi. For the LTTE to kill the Indian prime minister in India is a tough task. They should have thought many times before doing it.
Why did the Militants trained by Indra Gandhi kill her own son?we need to think about this question...It was because of the attrocities carried out by the IPKF(Indian Peace Keeping Force) against the tamils in srilanka. Rajiv Gandhi,as the prime minister of India was responsible for sending IPKF to srilanka.

WHY DID THE LTTE KILL RAJIV GANDHI? WHY THEY DIDNT KILL THE OTHER PRIME MISTERS OF INDIA LIKE NARASIMHA RAO, V.P.SINGH , I.K.GUJRAL,VAJPAYEE ...?
We need to think about this seriously....

How many people know that Prabhakaran and his aides were held as hostages in a hotel in New Delhi & threatened by the Indian officials to accept the so called peace agreement between India & srilanka signed by Rajiv Gandhi & Jeyawardene.

India & Srilanka had planned to enter into an agreement(Indo-srilanka peace accord).
The most important clause of that agreement was that both srilankan government and LTTE should declare cease fire and the LTTE should handover all the weapons to the IPKF. Prabhakaran was INVITED to india as Rajiv Gandhi wanted to discuss about this agreement with them. Prabhakaran was unaware of India's motive and he along with 2 of his aides came to Tamilnadu and then reached Delhi.

In Delhi Prabhakaran & his aides were taken to a hotel. An Indian official had given a copy of the agreement to them and asked them to sign it. After reading the agreement Prabhakaran refused to sign it as there wont be any security for the srilankan tamils and the LTTE if they surrender the weapons. But Prabhakaran didnt have any other option except to sign the deal or else he wont get out of the hotel.

Lets leave all these arguments, lets accept the stand of the Indian & srilankan governments and also the international community. lets accept the LTTE is a terrorist organisation. lets accept Prabhakaran is a terrorist.but now the question is what do we call rajapakse brothers and fonseka who were responsible for merciless killing of innocent tamil civilians (women, elders and children as well) in the name of war against terror?
Why shouldnt we call them terrorists? What do we call the indian government which gave all kind of support to the srilankan army in killing the tamils...

People around the world are are calling for an enquiry into the war crimes committed by the rajapakse government, whereas india is trying to save rajapakse. Our generation was taught about the holocaust (Israel) so that such a thing should not happen in any part of the world again, but the next generation should be taught about the srilankan genocide...

The srilankan government celebrated the victory over the LTTE (tamils). Now they say that terrorism(LTTE) has been completely destroyed(or won),so whats the next step.
Kidnapping, killing and raping the tamils seems to be the next step for rajapakse...
The tamils remaining in srilanka are homeless and jobless...their homes have been destroyed by the srilankan army. Now the tamil areas have been slowly converted into sinhalese settlements...I dont believe the war is over, i think it will start again because the sufferings of tamils has not ended, the reasons which made the LTTE to fight the srilankan government still remain the same...tamils dont have freedom or equal rights,
They are still treated as slaves, as long as this situation prevails, the war will never end...
Thousand prabhakarans will rise, they wont care whether you call them terrorists, they will keep fighting for their rights....
Srilankan government may claim that they have destroyed the tigers, india(congress)may feel happy for they helped srilanka to fight the tigers but the funny thing is that the national animal of india is TIGER (which cannot be destroyed by the congress)

Nithyanandha... Naan Kadavul… Aham Bramhasmi

When I wanted to write about this guy I told myself, ”Do I really need to write about him? It is a waste of time,it is not worth writing…”Then I thought I should definitely write because he is not going to be the last, there will be many more nithyanandhas to come…I wont blame Nithyanandha, I will blame the people(the fools) who followed him.

Nithyanandha is just another culprit who is clever enough to exploit the people’s weakness, superstition, ignorance & stupidity. He is free to open an ashram but who asked our foolish people to go to his ashram. He didn’t kidnap anyone, all the people went to his ashram on their own will because they had the freedom to become fools…

I remember a dialogue from the movie vasool raja m.b.b.s. “Kadavul irukkarnu solravana nambalam, kadavul illanu sollravanayum nambalam ana naandhan kadavulnu solravana mattum nambadhe” It means “Believe the one who says god exists, believe the one who says god doesn’t exists, but don’t believe the one who says I am god.

We have seen so many frauds in disguise, in the name of premananda, nithyananda, Xanandha, Yanandha etc…we have seen in the tv news, we have read in the newspapers but still we are always ready to believe the next anandha. All the awareness created by the media is of no use to educate our people.

Almost all the ashrams hit the headlines due to sex scandals, I wonder why the hell females go to these ashrams? Why do husbands send their wifes to these ashrams, is it because they want to get rid of their wives or because they cannot satisfy their wives and so they send to these godmen.

I have heard some people saying Nithyanandha has got some magical power and he cured their disease…Let me ask them,if a doctor cures your disease, will you donate your wealth to the doctor? will you sleep with the doctor? you will pay only the fee, right?

People go to these godmen for different reasons. each one will have a problem and they seek a solution from these godmen. I would suggest if you have a health related problem, go to a doctor. When you have a wealth related problem, go to a bank or a money lender. When you have a personal problem, speak to your relatives or friends or your well wishers. If your problem is too big or too personal or too complicated and you think no one can help you, in that case the last option would be to pray, speak to god.

If you believe in god, I need not say, you should know that you can speak to god, he will listen to you. Then why do you people need a mediator(a broker) in between yourself and god. I can say for sure certain things like pain, disease, misfortune & accidents come across everyone’s life. we don’t have any choice and we have to accept things and we have to undergo the pain. If god can answer all the prayers, there wont be any disease or pain or sorrow in this world. But that’s the magic of creation, All the negative things will exist along with the good things. As we enjoy the good things we have to accept the pain as well. When god himself cannot cure the diseases, remove the pain, save from sorrows then doesn’t it sound foolish to expect the so called godmen to save us.

After writing al these I don’t think I can create enough awareness and make all the people wise. I am sure people are ready, waiting for the next anandha. In a few years another ashram and godman will hit the headlines, again with a sex scandal, we will come to know that lot of people have been cheated and betrayed…We will see the flash news in all the tv channels, followed by absconding, search operations, arrest and finally the culprit getting bail. The same story will go on & on & on…like a never ending mega serial… I just hope some of the people who follow my writing can educate others…
